If you’ve spent any time in Manchester’s LGBTQ+ scene, chances are you’ve seen Sam light up a stage. Whether she’s belting out a ballad, making the crowd cry with laughter, or delivering a performance that leaves you speechless. Sam is an inspiration!

Now, Sam is stepping into her next chapter and she needs our help.

Sam is raising funds to access gender-affirming surgeries, a life-changing step that brings her closer to aligning her body with her true self. This isn’t a story of sadness—it’s a story of power. A story of a woman who has overcome immense challenges and continued to stand tall, proud, and unapologetically herself. She is 5 years sober and she knows herself better than ever.

This surgery is not about changing who she is—it’s about affirming who she has always been. It’s about allowing Sam to live fully, freely, and comfortably in her own skin. And after giving so much to the community, it’s our chance to give something back.

We would like to raise £18,000 for the surgeries she needs. This is a HUGE amount of money, so if we don’t manage to reach that amount we will save the funds until she is able to find the rest of the money. If any money is left over it will be donated to trans charities or similar transition Go Fund Me campaigns.
