Samantha Morin, a breast cancer survivor, was given devastating news after months of not feeling well. After weeks of tests and doctors visits, Sam was told her breast cancer not only came back but has metastasized and spread to her liver.
Mrs. Morin is a 2nd grade teacher at Bay Haven and a beloved member of the Sarasota community. She was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida. Sam and her husband, Steve, have a son, Houlton, who is in Kindergarten this year.
Due to this difficult diagnosis, Mrs. Morin has made the decision to take the rest of the school year off and focus on her health and family.
We are asking for any donations to help with the cost of uncovered medications, gas (driving back and forth to Moffitt for treatment) and loss of income.

To know Sam is to love her. She is genuinely one of the kindest and most loving person. She always puts her family and students first. Now it is time for us to put her first!
