Single mother needs help after car accident

Samantha Markley is a single mother to a beautiful 6 year old girl and full time accounting major at Georgia Southern Univeristy. She is a manger at mcdonalds and works hard to provide a great life for her daughter.

Unfortunately life decided to throw a curve ball on June 12. While driving to pick up Aria from summer camp, she encountered high waters. 

She tried to take a different road and was met with more floods. She tried to turn around at what like looked like an intersection to find another way. Unfortunately the water on this road was waist deep and had a current to it. The current grabbed the back end of her car and pulled it into the dranage canal that was so flooded the water was level with the road. 

Her and her passenger were able to get out of the car. And luckily she had not picked up her daughter yet. 

We are very thankful everyone is okay. But now I'm trying to help with raising money for this family. Her car is not salvagable, and when they got out they had to leave doors open so much of the stuff in the car floated down the current. 

She lost both her ipad and laptop, which she used to do her schoolwork. She had just stopped at the store and picked up groceries and a brand new pair of glasses for Aria. 

The passenger's phone, Samantha's whole purse, including ID and cash, and Aria's car seat were all water damaged. Along with 2 air mattresses and Aria's favorite blanket. 

While all these things are hard to lose, the biggest loss is the car itself. As a full time worker,  student, and mother, Samantha relies on her car to provide for her child. 

While I am beyond grateful that everyone is alive, and that my niece was not in the car when this tragedy occured, I know that they need help to get back on their feet.
