Help Samantha Atkinson! Burkitt Lymphoma Cancer.

In February of this year (2019),  my sister Samantha was diagnosed with Burkitt Lymphoma, a rare form of fast-growing cancer that attacks the lymphatic system. 

Since this diagnosis, she has had part of her thyroid removed and has undergone several intensive rounds of chemotherapy and blood transfusions.  Some of the side effects for this treatment include nausea/vomiting, headaches, neuropathy, and hair loss.

During this process, Samantha has maintained a positive attitude and we are hopeful that she will make a full recovery.  However, this situation has created a financial hardship for her as she will be unable to work for a total of up to 6 months due to her weakened immune system.

Due to the enormous amount of medical bills and extremely limited ability to cover her living expenses during this process we are reaching out to friends and family to help support her.

Any amount will be helpful, as it will ease her financial burden and allow her to focus on getting healthy and back to her 100% fun, amazing self!
