Support Samantha's Fight for Her Child's Safety

My name is Samantha Hulser, previously Samantha Picard. I am here to ask for help funding lawyer fees so I can protect and keep my child safe from a toxic family member. My daughter's grandmother has established visitation rights through the courts. This person is extremely toxic and has a harmful influence on my daughter and my family. As a parent, I should have the right to decide who spends time with my child. I am sure any parent can understand that it should be the parent who decides when and how a child spends time with their extended family. I am asking for YOUR help in giving me and my family that right back. I ask for your help to take her back to court and put a stop to her negative influences on my daughter. I need a minimum of $2000 to even file the initial paperwork and from there, it's going to be a battle. Any and all help will be the utmost appreciated. Whether it's $1 or just a share or a spread of the word. There's not enough thank yous I could say, but thank you, truly.

I have a very blended family. Four kids, three wonderful co-parenting relationships. Two and a half years ago, I was brought to court so a family member could have rights after I created distance when an ex-parte was filed under false allegations. Visits were granted as the other parent wasn't exercising their rights at that time. Now those rights are being exercised and it has become one of our co-parenting relationships that are positive.

The grandmother brings my daughter around inappropriate people even when I ask her not to do so. She recently said to my five-year-old, "when you get old enough you can run away, you can come here," along with also telling my daughter if they ever smoke they'll have to cut her pinky off.

I am terrified of what will happen if she continues to remain in my child's life without my express permission. So, I am doing the only thing I can think of right now, asking for a community of people's help in protecting my daughter and my family.
