Help Samar and her family leave Gaza
Donation protected
Hello dear humanity
I am Samar from Gaza, a wife and mother of two children: my daughter Hanaa(6 years old), and Jana (9 months old). My children and I have narrowly escaped death several times during this latest war on Gaza, facing injury twice. I am unable to provide diapers and milk for my young daughter (Janna).
The entire Gaza Strip is currently experiencing genocide, severe famine, and an epidemic that is killing our children. My family and I have fled from the completely destroyed area of Gaza to Khan Younis, then to Rafah, and then to Deir al-Balah. We have been displaced several times within a few months.
My beautiful 6-year-old daughter Hanaa finished kindergarten before the war began. She was so excited for her first day of school. My little girl is full of energy, hope, optimism, and love for life. I cannot imagine those beautiful eyes withering from hunger, fear, exhaustion, and illness. Please do not let my daughter’s eyes wither. This feeling is worse than death for me. Please!
I appeal to the world to help save my children from certain death, to feel the weight of a mother's despair, and to extend a helping hand. Help us gather the necessary resources to leave Gaza and obtain the minimum requirements for life until the war ends and Gaza becomes livable again.
Purpose of the Fundraising Campaign
I am starting this fundraising campaign to evacuate my family—my children, my husband, and myself—via the Rafah/Egypt crossing, which currently requires $5,000 per person. This is our only chance to survive. I humbly ask for your help now.
Below is a detailed breakdown of the expenses, ensuring transparency and your clear understanding.
Expense Distribution:
- Rafah/Egypt crossing: $5,000 per adult / $2,500 per child (total $15,000 for a family of four)
Note:
As everyone knows, the Rafah crossing has been closed by the Israeli army, and there is no other way out of the Gaza Strip now. However, with your support, we will be able to raise the necessary amount and be ready to leave as soon as the Rafah crossing reopens.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
Yours sincerely,
Samar
