Help Sammy’s fight against Neuroblastoma

Donation protected
Samantha is a super courageous, sassy and beautiful girl.

Samantha was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma in 2019 and we were in complete shock and our world came tumbling down.  But we knew we had to do everything we could to help our Samantha in her fight.

We believe that all children deserve the right to grow up and live a life.

In 2020 we embarked on a journey to find cancer treatment abroad. We travelled to the USA for DFMO.  We found promising treatment but it was not an easy feat to achieve.

We have set out to raise $250,000 to be able to continue this life saving treatment for Samantha and we really need your help to reach it.

Even during Delta/Covid we are making the hard choice to travel to the USA and make it happen for our Sammy.  We must travel again this October 2021 & still have 2 remaining trips to the US during this pandemic.

She is 1 of 4 girls and an identical twin.

Our world would be lost without her and need all your help to give her the best chance!

She has had a hard time on the trial and endured multiple blood transfusions and long weeks away from home but she still fights with all her heart and all her mite at her chance to survive.

As a result of her frontline treatment and continual DFMO treatment, has she lost her hair twice and her mother shaved her long hair to support her she has also faced kidney issues. She has lost her high range hearing and is considered to have high range hearing loss which has made learning and safety difficult for her.

We are trying our best to support her with hearing aids and therapeutic support.

Cancer treatment itself has left Samantha with irreparable damage as it does with all children. Samantha is our hero as she gets up every day with a smile on her face to take on any challenge that comes her way. She has fought bigger fights than any of us may see in a lifetime.

Neuroblastoma is a cruel Cancer with only 50% survival rate and for those who relapse and it is common the survival rate is 10-15% such low numbers of survival however DFMO gives us hope that Sammy will have a chance at living.

We have been through hardship and with all our fundraising efforts dashed we are really looking to you for your help.
