Help San Diego Film Awards Submit for Emmy® Awards

The San Diego Film Awards are more than just trophies – they're a celebration of the incredible community that makes it all happen. The goal is to bring attention and recognition to San Diego's growing film industry- and you can be a part of helping this movement grow!

We've already achieved incredible things: 5 Emmy® Award nominations and a recipient of the Emmy Award for Best Musical Composition in 2020! Now, let's show the world the true power of the San Diego Film Awards community. Join us in this campaign and help us celebrate everyone who makes this event possible!

Nearly 100 people contributed their time to the 2023 San Diego Film Awards. Because the Film Awards is televised, it can be considered for the prestigious Emmy Awards.

But here's the catch: Each submission for the Emmy Awards costs between $95-$225 per category, per person. With so many deserving people and with our show eligible to submit to 8 different Emmy Award categories, it would cost us over $2500 to submit each of our deserving cast and crew members to be considered for an Emmy Award nomination.

That's where you come in! Your contribution will help us submit to more categories, giving our team the recognition they deserve for their passion and dedication. Here's what your support unlocks:

$700: When we raise $700, we'll submit to the "Special Event Coverage" category, showcasing the magic of the Awards Ceremony.

$1400: When we reach the $1400 contribution level, we'll be able to submit to writing, directing, talent (host), and photographer categories.

$2,200: Reaching $2200 we'll be able to submit under the editing and motion graphics categories as well.

$3,000+: Reaching $3000 allows us to pay for the registration or renewal of each nominee which costs between $75 and $100 per person.

STRETCH GOAL: Every dollar beyond will go toward submitting our 2024 Film Awards show to next year's Emmy Awards, giving even more opportunities for our talented cast and crew to get recognition from this prestigious organization.
