Help Sanaa's family evacuate from Gaza safely

Hi,

My name is Sanaa Abushaban. I am a kindergarten teacher. Before the war, my husband worked at the Ministry of Health. I have one daughter, Lamya, who just finished her first year of university, and 2 sons, Mahmoud and Ali, who lost their jobs in Gaza. My daughter is an intelligent and diligent student who graduated with a 99%. Similarly, my sons are hardworking individuals who strive every day to build their future. We've been saving up every penny to build a new floor on top of our house for my sons to get married in.

Our family's home stood close to the seashore where we resided, striving to make ends meet day by day. However, we were displaced from Gaza to the South, and then, we have been displaced again to Rafah near the Egyptian border. Now, our lives are in jeopardy as we have nowhere left to turn. We are in fear of the imminent military attack on Rafah.

Built through years of effort and filled with precious memories, including the roof my son constructed for his future family, our home has been bombarded by relentless airstrikes. We are terrified by the ongoing war and are traumatized with fear. Because we have lost our every source of income and our home, we find ourselves in impossibly difficult situations every day. We live in a tent that offers no protection against the strong wind and rain in this cold weather, leaving us exposed to such harsh weather conditions. Food prices have reached a point where they are beyond our financial means. Despite the gravity of this decision, the difficult circumstances are forcing us to flee Gaza to save our lives. There are no medical assistance, no hospitals, and no easy access to medications. Our immediate priority is to flee Gaza, which is why we require funds for the application process, expenses associated with the Rafah crossing, and accommodations in Cairo as we plan our relocation and settlement. That is why I am seeking out kind souls and helping hands in my family and me's time of need.

Our immediate priority is to secure the permits for evacuating Gaza ($7,000 -$10,000 USD for Rafah crossing per person), $6,000 USD for basic needs in Egypt, accommodation, and residence for three months, and around $2,000 USD for commission and fees for GoFundMe.
