Help Sandbloom Family Recover after Eaton Fire
Donation protected
In the morning of January 8th, we lost my father's family home to the Eaton Fire. Like so many also affected, he was forced to leave his house with little warning. In the rush, he was able to save his dog, his cat, and little else.
My dad is a musician, and I spent hours if not days of my childhood listening to him practice and play. Lost in the fire are not only his guitars, drums, keyboard, bass, and more, but his home studio, which he built himself piece by piece over the years. On top of that are his 11-year-old daughter's things, including clothes, toys, and countless family photos.
Already we have received so much support, including donations of clothes and cat food. We are incredibly grateful. Any money received will go towards helping my father and my sister recover what they can after this loss. So many people we know and love have been devastated by this fire. If you are able, please consider volunteering; the Mutual Aid Network of LA has compiled resources at https://tiny.cc/malan-fire
My heart is with our community as we rebuild and heal. Thank you so much for the love and support. Anything helps.
