Help Sandra's Staff Rebuild After Hurricane Milton

My name is Sandra Ruhland, and I'm the owner of Sandra’s German Restaurant in Downtown Punta Gorda, Florida. I've been the owner & chef at our restaurant for 13 years.

It is never easy for me to ask for help in my personal life as I don't like to bother people with my burdens. This, however, is not just about me. This is about my staff here at the restaurant.

We were hit by two hurricanes in the course of a couple of weeks, and it has left our restaurant down and out, putting all our expenses into repairing what we had already been fixing from Hurricane Helene.

We have never in 13 years dealt with a hurricane storm surge like this, let alone TWICE. It has been gut-wrenching.

I have 14 amazing employees. If you can find it in your heart to help us out by donating, please do.

We are trying so hard to get our restaurant back open so they all can come back to work, but I worry about them during this time of rebuilding as they struggle with their own. All money raised here will go to our staff so that they can pay bills, buy groceries, and take care of whatever basic needs that are being neglected while out of work ❤️!
