Help Sereen & her children survive a genocide &evacuate Gaza
Donazione protetta
My name is Sereen Dawoud, married to Hatem and mother of two children: Ahmed, three years old, and Sandy, six years old. We were living a happy life before October 7th.
before the war killed my sister-in-law and her four daughters. The news of their death was a huge shock. But it didn't end there... We had to flee our home eight times after a rocket hit our house without exploding. Yes, my children and I survived death! Our house was destroyed.
and my husband and I carried our children, fleeing in the middle of the night with fires blazing around us. It was like a nightmare. We had nothing but the clothes we were wearing, walking through the streets searching for safety. We reached an abandoned house that had been bombed earlier, with its owners still under the rubble. Only one room remained intact, and we sheltered there for the night. We didn't sleep a second; I cried all night as the sounds of bombing and explosions continued.
In the morning, I decided to flee to the south of Gaza in search of safety and to protect my children. We left the abandoned house under bombardment, pursued by quadcopter drones shooting at us directly. After a long, terrifying day, we reached the southern sector in search of safety, but there was no safety there either. My children and I lived in a tent in Rafah City, lacking the basic necessities of life. It was very cold on winter nights, and rainwater would seep in. Our tent flooded often, soaking my children's bedding many times while they were asleep. With the spread of infectious diseases, my children and I contracted various illnesses, including hepatitis and severe gastroenteritis. I also developed a severe eye infection from the smoke of the fire.
After the military operation was announced in Rafah, we had to flee again, this time to Deir al-Balah. Today, we live in a small tent on the beach, under the scorching sun. We struggle to find clean drinking water, and many deadly insects and reptiles surround us. If we don't die from the war, we will die from a snake or scorpion bite. Today, with the rising temperatures, my little Ahmed suffers from second-degree burns due to his sensitivity to the sun, and there is no proper treatment available for him. The suffering continues...
Please help alleviate my children's suffering and protect us from genocide by donating and allowing us to escape this imminent extermination soon after the borders open. We have lost everything, but we have not lost faith in you.
