Please help Sandy & Richard rebuild after floods

Please help my family rebuild their lives and their home after the devastating floods in the mid-north coast of NSW.
After a lifetime of hard work in Sydney, my Mum Sandy, and her husband Richard Trigg, moved to the tranquility of Manning Point, near Taree on the mid-north coast of NSW.
That peace and tranquility ended last week, with a 1 in 100 year storm that saw the Manning River flood across Manning Point. They were kept safe thanks to the kindness of strangers and the local community. They are currently staying in a home owned by someone they don't even know, with nothing except their mobile phones, a few items of clothing, and their essential medication. As soon as the roads reopen I will bring Sandy back to Sydney so that she is safe, and she can spend time with her family and her grandchildren. In her own words she cannot "bear to go back and see what it looks like now everything is gone." Richard wants to stay and see what he can do.
Sadly the flood water destroyed their home, their furniture, personal belongings, and a lifetime of possessions with it. Even though the river has subsided , it has left behind a devastating mess that will take months to clean up, and rebuild; there is nothing left that resembles their life. The furniture is still floating inside the home. Both in their 70's this is a difficult time, with the realisation they have to start again. Sandy relies on a walking frame to get around, and Richard is not physically able to rebuild their life and their home alone.
Please, if you are able to spare anything that will help raise money to rebuild and refurnish Sandy & Richard's home we will be forever in your debt.
