Help Santa with a new Sleigh

Santa needs our Help!!

This past weekend Santa aka Brian Iles so graciously donated time to help a small local toy drive. This year he and local photographer Elyse Destout were donating toys to CASA of Santa Cruz. With each sitting a family would a toy or cash to CASA. Families came from around town to take photos with him, he’s amazing and so patient. Kids loved it even though it was wet out.

As you know Saturday was also the rainiest Day of the year, so it felt. Unfortunately, as Santa finished his day he headed home, the water had risen so much that he couldn’t see the road and his truck went in to the creek. He took on quite a bit of water. It came up to the bottom of the driver seat. Sadly- he had to evacuate his car through the passenger door. He was very shaken up and now his car is totaled. Insurance will not cover the damages but will give him some money for his car, however it won’t be enough to get a new (used) car. This is his only transportation. Elyse and I would love to raise some funds to help him lighten the burden of purchasing a new vehicle. Santa is not only Santa but during the off season Brian makes bird houses and sells them at craft fairs. So it would be wonderful to either donate, share his story or purchase a bird feeders from him this season to help during this time.
