I am reaching out to you with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to support my best friend Melanie's husband, Santiago. Santiago, a loving father, devoted husband, and cherished friend, was diagnosed with advanced rectal cancer. This diagnosis has turned he and his family's world upside down, and they are seeking your generosity to help them in this challenging journey.

About Santiago:

Santiago is a vibrant, caring, and hardworking individual who has always put others before himself. As a high school math teacher, he works with teens everyday and loves what he does. He is a father to two amazing little girls who want him around for years to come. He has been a pillar of strength and support for his family and friends, always offering a helping hand and a kind word. His positive outlook on life and unwavering determination inspire everyone around him.

The Battle:

The medical expenses for this fight are overwhelming, and the financial strain is mounting from day one. Santiago faces an immediate 6 months of intense chemotherapy and then there will be surgeries and possible other alternative procedures and care which will be customized for his treatment plan. Despite the hardships and the unknown, Santiago remains optimistic and continues to face each day with faith, courage, and resilience.

I have created this GoFundMe campaign to help alleviate the financial burden of Santiago's medical diagnosis, treatments, travel expenses for specialized care, and everyday living costs. Your donations will go directly towards:
