Help Sara in her fight against PGV

My name is Sara Steiner and I have a case I am working on for the Hawaii Intermediate Court of Appeals against the State of Hawaii Department of Health and Puna Geothermal Ventures to ensure that PGV has to shut down and perform a thorough and modern EIS and prove their cumulative impacts do not harm the Lower East Rift Zone in a pressurized Kilauea volcano.  I have taken a vow of poverty to pursue my whistleblowing against PGV and have been working diligently for the last several years on research and find it necessary to ask for your help to be able to continue the fight without worrying.

I am pro se on this case, I can't afford a lawyer and have spent the last several years researching induced seismicity relating to geothermal operations. I have found out there are no laws in Hawaii for geothermal plants to monitor their induced seismicity or mitigate it, or to protect the residents in the surrounding areas, whereas in other states in the United States, or in the rest of the world, there is protocol that you do not locate geothermal plants in areas of high seismicity, near or over hidden faults, in areas prone to large earthquakes, etc...

I am also working on with a local geophysicist, Larry Wood on investigating PGV's actions during the 2018 Kilauea eruption.  Larry is donating his time as well, and the first report "A geochemical and geophysical review of Puna Geothermal Venture and the 2018 Kilauea eruption" available at: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LqsfMfGfeNx3LYE6LI4q9F1mjJhl8OOA/view?usp=sharing.  We will have expenses for further geochemical and industry research and plan on several more reports.  This GoFundMe page is also for that scientific line of proof.

I am looking to raise money to help me and Larry keep up the legal fight for as long as it takes.  Besides covering some basic expenses for myself and research, if I am able to raise sufficient funds I will happily look for an attorney specializing in environmental law to consult with or hire if they are interested.  Thank you for your consideration.
