Help with medical debt and housing!

Sara is 34 years old and has a complex medical case. 2015 was when her more serious health complications began. She needed emergency services multiple times over the course of 3yrs. She was experiencing menorrhagia and would continuously bleed for over 20 days each month, for multiple months on end. She would become weak and would often pass out from even minimal physical activity.

During this time she was unable to gain health insurance and while her first hospitalization was granted bill forgiveness, later medical events lead to significant medical debt. Sara was diagnosed with Endometriosis and Adenomyosis, requiring regular surgeries and on going iron infusions to support her continued blood loss.

Now times are getting tougher and Sara will be forced to move in a few months and the medical fees will not be forgiven, regardless of her inability to pay. Sara has been unable to work for quite some time and has been through 6 stroke episodes within a single year. She is at the end of her savings and is unable to continue her medical payments.

Sara is currently on all available government programs, however they do not cover housing or many living costs. Ultimately Sara will need to move to another city and is trying to avoid being homeless.

All funds raised will immediately be used to pay off hospital bills, and any additional funds will cover housing and living expenses.

Despite her disabilities and medical needs, Sara enjoys helping others, teaching her nephew and nieces, traveling when possible, trying new foods, and exploring museums and assisting friends with genealogy work.

Sara’s positive and kind spirit is a joy to those she touches and she appreciates any and all support.
