Help Sarah and Ashley Rebuild After Fire

To our beloved community... firstly, thank you so much for all the ways you continue to show up for us and our people. Secondly, we are here today to ask for help. Our dearest friend Sarah and her sister Ashely have experienced a total loss fire. On the morning of November 25th, Ashley heard a neighbor yell "fire!" and came out of her bedroom to an apartment full of smoke. She was able to grab her phone and bag and get out in time. Ashley and Sarah are both safe and staying with family. However, all of their possessions (clothes, personal and sentimental items, appliances and devices, xmas gifts, etc.) have been totally lost.

All the residents of the complex and their pets were saved and accounted for, thankfully. The fire department reported over a million gallons of water were used to extinguish the fire and in that, their apartment was unfortunately destroyed.

As her friends and community, we are coming together to gather as many resources and donations as possible. At this time, neither of them will be able to work and are therefore missing wages. Also, with the holiday season approaching, groceries and gifts were also lost. We are asking for help making this time as bearable as possible for them. Sarah is a steward of care and takes pride in feeding her community. Let's return the love. Even if all you have to offer is words of love and affirmations, we'll take it.
