Help Sarah & Casey recover from the Maui Wildfire

Donation protected
Hi all, my name is Marissa Owen and I have worked for Hawaiian Airlines for 10 years. My dear friends, Sarah Cain and Casey Robinson, lost their Lahaina home during the recent wildfires on Maui. Although lucky to have been on the mainland visiting family and out of harm’s way, this also means they missed any opportunity to grab even their most cherished items. Your donations will help Sarah and Casey take the first steps to rebuilding their life together. Please also continue to send love and messages of support, as they’ve helped so much already.

For those of you who don’t know Sarah or Casey, Sarah has also been a Hawaiian Airlines flight attendant for the last 10 years. We met during our initial training and lived together during our first year. Casey, affectionately known as Captain Casey, has been sailing with the Lahaina Yacht Club and many other tour boat operators for over 45 years.

While the money raised here will first and foremost go toward securing housing and necessities, Sarah and Casey have also expressed an interest in contributing toward rebuilding their house, garden, and beloved neighborhood.

8/16/23: We reached our initial goal of $10,000! Sarah and Casey returned to Maui today. They are staying with friends temporarily and hoping to return to Lahaina this week to see what’s left of the house.
