Help Sarah fix her Jeep so she can get to work!

Hi, my name is Sarah, and I am fundraising to repair my family’s Jeep so I can commute to my new job in Montreal--which is over 100 km away.
(Pictured above: the start of my long love affair with Jeeps.)
Our Jeep has been parked in the driveway since late 2020 when it finally became too unsafe to drive. Although we've attempted to repair it piecemeal over the past two years, each repair revealed more extensive work that needed to be done, and we haven't been able to get it back on the road. Every time it looks like we might finally be able to afford the repairs, a new emergency arises. As COVID restrictions ease and more and more jobs are requiring employees to return to the office, my not having access to a vehicle is becoming a bigger and bigger problem. Although my current position as an ESL teacher is 100% remote, my hours were halved this month and I need to find a new job.
The great news is I found a new job in the education field--and much sooner than I anticipated. The bad news is that the new job will require me to go to the office three times a week, and that office is in Montreal. I anticipate commuting at least 15 hours a week, or five hours a day; this is still significantly more feasible than trying to relocate or purchase a new vehicle at the present time.

Commuting to Montreal involves driving to a bus depot 30 minutes away, taking the bus and metro, and then finally walking to my office in downtown Montreal. The commute is easy but long, and my biggest problem is getting to the bus depot.
Currently, I will be relying on my mum to drive me to and from the bus depot three times a week, which isn't sustainable. The sooner I can repair the Jeep, the sooner my mum, who is retired and in ill health, doesn't need to get up at the crack of dawn simply so I can pay my bills.

Without assistance, I estimate it will take me until January to be able to afford the repairs. I don't anticipate that I'll be able to fundraise all the money needed, but any little bit I can get will help me fix the Jeep that much sooner. Thank you for your generosity, and my sincerest wish is that this new job will finally allow me to pay it forward to someone else in need.
