Help Sarah Get By After Second Brain Surgery
Donation protected
This is my friend Sarah, she’s just had a second craniotomy and needs a bit of support getting through the next few months.
In 2022 Sarah suffered a brain haemorrhage in her left temporal lobe and needed an emergency craniotomy. This was caused by a blood vessel at the centre of an AVM rupturing. That AVM caused a second aneurysm further up stream on her middle cerebral artery, which had been monitored the past two years.
Sadly the aneurysm hadn’t dissipated on its own in this time, and the surgeons decided a second operation to clip the aneurysm was the best way to further protect Sarah’s quality of life.
Her recovery in the past two years has been steady but she now suffers from chronic fatigue, which has prevented her from working full time. This has made it even more difficult to have to stop and take a further 2-3 months off work, potentially more, to recover from another brain surgery. This has obviously made it very hard to cover household bills and rent.
Any support at all would be greatly appreciated to help her through this difficult time. Thank you.
