Help Sarah get to the 70.3 World Championship

Hello friends and family,
It's not easy for me to admit when I need help, but I could use a little assistance right now. As many of you know I recently completed my second 70.3/Half Ironman distance triathlon race in Roanoke, VA.

It was a new race with an extremely difficult bike course that I honestly didn't know if I could complete. After a training recon ride in Virginia prior to the race I had slightly more confidence in my ability to do this race, however, after almost 2 years of no races due to covid it was really difficult to know how everything would shake out on race day.
I was completely astonished that I had a really good day out on the course on race day, which enabled me to push really hard on the run and secure 8th place in my Age Group and the 3rd fastest run among the women. It also happened that there were exactly 8 slots in my Age Group for this years 70.3 World Championship race in Utah! I still can't believe that I was able to obtain a slot. That being said getting to World's is not a cheap endeavor.
Like many others I have been facing financial hardship due to pandemic related lockdowns. Along with personal struggles with depression and anxiety, many things in my life, especially my work/career life have not gone as planned (to say the least…)
One thing that has helped me to keep my head above the water these past couple of years has been triathlon training.
Completing a half Ironman distance event was something that I never envisioned myself doing a handful of years ago, it still shocks me that this type of endurance event seems somewhat commonplace to me these days. However, the training and competing is still a huge undertaking that has taken endless hours of difficult training. After having so many emotional, mental and physical struggles over the past few years, competing in this World Championship race will be an enormous accomplishment and a huge confidence booster for myself.
Additionally, I hope that by sharing my personal experiences with these struggles I can help others to find ways to manage their own mental illness battles.
All this being said I am looking for a little help from my friends and family in order to accomplish this goal and to make it out to Utah this year. The money I raise will go towards covering the registration fee, plane ticket, lodging and other travel related costs. Since the race is only 3 months out many of the accommodations in St. George have been booked up and the costs are a bit higher than normal due to high demand.
I promise to keep you all updated as I continue to train for this race over the summer and will of course let you all know how the championship race goes in September!
Thanks in advance for your support, every little bit helps immensely
