Help Sarah Overcome Cancer and Financial Strain

Hi, I’m Mark Ruvelson and I’m fundraising for Sarah (aka Sarifa) Salanga, a friend and long-time work colleague who is battling Stage 3 cervical cancer. Sarah has been hospitalized since April and will remain there for at least another 5 weeks while she receives radiation and chemotherapy treatments. Following what will hopefully be positive results, she’ll then continue receiving treatment on an out-patient basis for another 6 weeks.

Sarah has been unable to work since April. Given her fragile condition and the toll the treatments take, she won’t be able to return to work until October at the earliest. Meantime her bills are piling up and she is dealing with serious financial stressors.

Sarah is a wonderful person with a heart of gold. She’s also very driven, and being physically unable to work has left her feeling helpless and vulnerable. My heart goes out to her and I am committed to doing everything I can to support her.
