Help Sarah & Greg Recover After Devastating Wildfire

Our dear friends Sarah Paule and Greg Berger lost their house in Altadena and all of their belongings to the Eaton Fire on Wednesday. The fire decimated everything, leaving them and their two small children, Norman (7) and Ernest (2), without a place to call home. Sarah and Greg are the brightest lights in the world: fiercely loyal friends, with the most generous and giving hearts. They are constant supporters of small businesses in the Altadena community, active in PUSD schools, and the best neighbors anyone could dream of. To know them is to instantly love them.

On Tuesday evening Sarah and Greg were in the middle of putting their kids to bed when they got the evacuation order. They thought it would be a quick trip, so they initially just threw the kids in the car and went to Sarah’s parents’ house in Pasadena. They left so quickly that they brought next to nothing with them—they didn’t even bring their two-year-old’s shoes. We’re devastated about the irreplaceable items they’ve lost, and they now need help to cover items that other sources of aid would not cover.
