Help this Naturist Mother Preserve her Parental Rights!

Sarah is facing a mother's worst nightmare. The father of her youngest child, age 7, has petitioned the court to strip her of custody because she is a Naturist.

In an emergency hearing, an Arkansas Circuit Court Judge stated on the record that Sarah, by all indications, WAS a good mother right up to the point that she embraced non-sexual nude recreation and brought her child to Cypress Cove Nudist Resort in Kissimmee, Florida. Cypress Cove is a family-owned, family-friendly nudist resort affiliated with the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR). The visit was for their annual Nude Revolution Family Weekend. Hundreds of families with children of all ages from all over the country and even some foreign nations were in attendance. This wholesome, family-friendly, body-positive experience has been deemed to be dangerous to children in the eyes of an Arkansas Court. For the child's entire life, Sarah has been the primary caregiver and sole custodial parent. The child's father has had minimal contact and visitation with the child since she split with him over 2 years ago.

Because of this unjust ruling, Sarah is in the fight of her life. She has been blessed that a law firm has agreed to represent her. An even bigger blessing is they are waiving their hourly fees and litigation costs to help Sarah.

Even with this amazing gift, Sarah will still be financially responsible for court costs, filing fees, witness fees and various other expenses estimated to be around $7500.00. That was our original fundraising goal. Because there has never been a case like this before in the State of Arkansas, the true cost is still unknown.

Your support is much appreciated in all forms. But for those of you that are able to give monetarily, you will be helping to pay for witness fees and their travel expenses (which can get expensive considering there obviously aren't many experts within our state) court fees as well as filing fees.

As a single mother of 2 with limited means, this is an overwhelming hurdle to overcome. No parent should have to fight this battle, and Sarah is fighting it bravely. Being a Naturist is NOT dangerous to children!

Money raised by this campaign will be used to help Sarah cover the costs she faces to retain custody of her child. Due to the overwhelming response from the Naturist community we have decided to increase our fundraising goal. Any funds donated to this campaign that are not used for Sarah's case will be rolled over into a Naturist "Defense Fund" with AANR at either the Regional or National level to be set aside for cases such as this that may occur in the future.
