Support for Sarah - Spinal Surgery

We're fundraising for our dear cousin, Sarah, who was recently rushed to the ER for an emergency spinal surgery. Please consider donating to help with her medical bills and her living expenses because she won't be able to return to work for quite some time.

At the end of January, Sarah found herself in excruciating pain, and she learned that she had a disc extrusion. Before her scheduled surgery, she ended up in unbearable pain and was taken in an ambulance to the ER. Instead of having a more common minimally invasive microdiscectomy, the situation had gotten much more severe in a short time, and she had to have an emergency laminectomy, and ended up with a dural tear.

Thankfully she’s on the other side of surgery, and we hope she can make a full recovery. Every day she is making small steps.

While she does have insurance, thank goodness, her out-of-pocket max is really high. She's waiting to hear about Short Term Disability and FMLA, but those don't cover her full salary nor all of her expenses.

She needs $10,000 for the medical bills, and we're hoping for another $12,000 to help supplement her diminished salary until she can return to work.
