Help Sarah & Tim Rebuild their Lives

Hi there! My name is Madeleine, and I am a coworker and a good friend of Sarah Howe. I am reaching out to ask for help on behalf of Sarah and her partner, Tim Douglass, rebuild their livelihood after their recent tragedy.

On Monday, February 20, 2023, Sarah and Tim were enjoying their night off together, cooking dinner in the trailer that they live in full-time in Manhattan, Montana. Both of them began to smell burning plastic. Tim stepped outside to check the trailer when he realized that the entire bottom portion of their trailer was on fire. Sarah, their two dogs (Elizabeth and Ludo), and their car keys made it out into the snow in time before the entire trailer burst into flames. Due to the ruralness of their trailer's location, an immediate emergency response was not enough-- Tim and Sarah lost their home and all of their belongings.

To know Sarah is to love Sarah-- she is the definition of a compassionate, caring human being. Sarah goes out of her way to bring people up who are down, and to lend a hug to those who need it. "Selfless" would be an understatement to describe her. The light she brings into any room is unmatched. Tim is one of the most loyal and genuine people you'd ever meet. His kindness can turn your entire day around with one smile. He loves fiercely, and his dedication to his friends, family and life is unrelenting.

All donations will go directly to Tim, Sarah, and the dogs to help them recover from the trauma and entirely rebuild their lives.

If you are willing to donate clothes (size small for women, size XL tall for mens), dog food (Taste of the Wild), Winco/Walmart/Target gift cards, toiletries, bedding, household supplies, etc-- please bring them to Copper Whiskey Bar & Grill in Bozeman, Montana, where we will keep any/all donations safe in the office for Tim and Sarah.

At this time, Sarah lost her phone in the fire and is waiting for her phone replacement. Anyone who needs to reach either of them please reach out to Tim, whose phone has been recovered.
