Help Sathvik heal from months of physical abuse.

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I have taken this initiative to help a victim who faced months of physical and mental abuse.

I am reaching out to you on behalf of Sathvik (pseudo name), a brave individual who has overcome tremendous challenges. He is a survivor of abuse and is on a journey towards healing and rebuilding his life.

Sathvik's story is one of strength and resilience. He came to US believing his cousin would help guide him through his education.

Unfortunately for Sathvik, his cousin had different plans. Sathvik was made to work without pay and the activities ranged from cleaning his cousin's 3 houses, chopping down trees, work for his cousin's IT company, massaging him for hours etc (if he stopped due to fatigue, he would receive severe punishments which include slaps, lashings with a washing machine hose, pvc pipes, metal rods etc which led to many fractures, scars all over the body). He would then sleep in an unfinished basement on the floor with very little food to eat as he would be fed only the leftovers. If there were no leftovers, he would have to scavenge for food in trash bins in neighborhood. Even his bathroom access was restricted and monitored via cameras.

Sathvik's cousin and his 2 friends/relatives would find any excuse to beat Sathvik up, the reasons could be him looking tired in front of an outsider, not standing up immediately and fold hands respectfully or bow head, not meeting a task's deadline, literally anything would infuriate him. The only reason he kept mum is because of his cousin's threats that he is so powerful he could kill him and his family with a simple phone call.

When he was rescued eventually with the help of a good samaritan, even the cops and doctors were in shock looking at the extent of the injuries which include but not limited to scarred skin tissues that looked like a road map, broken ribs, bones from head to toe.

Despite these hardships, Sathvik is determined to move forward and create a brighter future.

2. Cover his medical expenses as he is also suffering from arthritis.
