Saul Gomez's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Clarisa Gomez. My father, Saul Gomez, was at home when he suffered a significant stroke. He was rushed to PIH Hospital in Whittier. He was then discharged to Marlora Post Acute Rehabilitation.
His left arm and leg are still weak, his cognitive abilities are still impaired, and he needs 24-hour care.
It is clear from the doctors that his road to recovery will be very long, and, as his only child, I want to do everything I can to help him. Our family is doing everything we can to help assist his recovery, but our resources are limited, and, like so many other families, insurance can only cover so much.
I am humbly asking for donations to help fund my dad’s rehabilitation. My goal is to get him back on his feet, go back to work or even drive. Every dollar of funding will go directly towards rehabilitation and medical expenses.
My family and I are grateful for any support we receive, and we appreciate the love and support we have already received. I will post updates on his progress through therapy and rehabilitation.
Please share and invite others to support his recovery. Every little bit will help us. Thank you so much and God bless you!
