Help Save 5th Ave Records

5th Avenue Records was first opened in 1966 by Tony "The Record Man" and has since remained a favorite staple of Park Slope. As the oldest living record shop in Brooklyn, this establishment has faced the tests of time, change, recessions and now pandemics while remaining undeniably cool, a favorite inconspicuous and dusty hole-in-the-wall serving any and every music lover. Sadly, COVID-19 and other hardships now our landlord seeking a rent increase we simply cannot meet. In the past, Tony reached out to the community for media coverage and recieved help; we have not recieved any small business grants or COVID-19 relief assistance and customer activity continues to decrease with time. Please, support small businesses and help keep 5th Avenue Records alive. We are hoping to secure a five year lease and begin some much-needed renovations to improve the store for all. This truly is the epitome of "60's record store", a unique old spot of Brooklyn; please don't let it fail.
Thank you kindly!
Much love from the 5th Ave Records crew
