Help save a neighbor experiencing a disaster

Our neighbor, Mark Dake, is experiencing a terrible and on going personal disaster following the flooding brought on my tropical storm Elsa and he needs our help.

Flood waters from the neighborhood run off swamped his house. The water went half way up the outside of his house and was 3-4 ft deep inside his house. The house is a total loss and will need to be torn down. His insurance company will not pay for the damage since it was a flood. It’s been almost a month and the water has not receded. The county says they can’t (or won’t) do anything since there is no place else to run the water off.

In addition, Marks wife died suddenly just months ago and he lost his son only a few years ago. He really needs help.

Mark needs funds to pay for legal fees, demolition of the house, and living expenses.
