Help save abandoned pup

Hey y’all,

So Reed went hunting this morning 2 hours away and ended up going away from his deer stand to search for a new spot. He’s hundreds and hundreds of yard away from the 4wheeler at this point and he comes up on this sweet baby girl who had been strung up in a tree by her leg, seemingly to avoid her following her deserter.

She is still alive! The flys and maggots have ate up her little leg down to the bone and she’s starved. No telling how long she’d been laying there. He could’ve easily put her out of her misery and went on his way, but he said she’s got so much fight left in her, he had to save her.

So he finally got her loose from the tree, trekked back to his stand and cut down the burlap, went backed to yer and wrapped her in the burlap and carried her the hundreds of yards (like Santa Claus) back to the 4 wheeler and is heading back to camp and back home to me. We have spoken to a vet and she will need an emergency amputation to avoid euthanasia.

Yall, it’s 2 days before Christmas, and we have our sweet baby due in just a few months, we don’t have the thousands to pay to save her. Please help us, even if it’s just getting this shared and the word out.
