My name is Ceci, I am reaching out to you today as a graduate from Alandi Ashram and Ayurveda Gurukula’s 4-year Master Ayurvedic Practitioner program and current member of the Board of Directors at Alandi Ashram.

Alandi is one of the original vessels of Ayurvedic knowledge in this part of the world. For the last three plus decades Alandi has strived to fulfill its purpose as stated:

“We seek to graduate Master Ayurvedic Practitioners endowed with excellent clinical competency and in-depth knowledge of Ayurveda. To this end, we continually develop our methods of teaching and evaluation to meet these aspirations. We cultivate the seeds of stillness, altruism and compassionate service in our student apprentices’ hearts. Honoring the multiple gifts brought by our student apprentices’ diversity of learning and experience, we see our student apprentices as both teachers and learners. We encourage the creation of a community of sharing and support on all levels. Through the nurturing, rich, and challenging atmosphere of the gurukula, student apprentices will blossom in their personal understandings, interpersonal skills and spiritual practice, as well as in their competence in Ayurveda.”

I consider myself extraordinarily blessed to be a part of this beautiful effort to spread the knowledge of Ayurveda. My time at Alandi learning the Science of Life was a period of incredible growth, changing not only my life, but the lives of those around me as well. It is my dream that all people who are seeking healing and balance in their lives may continue to receive the incredible gifts Alandi has to offer; whether it be through studying in the gurukula, taking the healing journey into Ayurvedic medicine and therapies in our sliding scale clinic, or attending any of the community focused musical, spiritual, devotional celebrations and fire ceremonies hosted by Alandi for all who seek a spiritual path.

Sadly my dream is facing a threat of fewer admissions and soaring costs. It is no secret times are hard for everyone, Alandi is no different, as it is becoming increasingly difficult to make ends meet.

I am asking you to find it in your heart to consider supporting Alandi with a tax-deductible donation. Your gift, no matter how large or small, will contribute to the Mission of Alandi to continue to serve humanity through Ayurveda and spiritual practice.
