Restore Bishop McDevitt’s Stain Glass Windows
Donation protected
From its inception in 1958 to its closure in 2021, the “Heart” of Bishop McDevitt High School was the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Christ reserved in the school chapel located on the fourth floor of the building. Countless thousands of students attended Mass, adored the Blessed Sacrament and prayed in that chapel.
The chapel was adorned with four stained glass windows of the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Charles Borromeo, St. John XXIII, and Venerable Pius XII which are now in the possession of Sacred Heart Church in Bridgeport, PA. The windows need restoration and the pastor, Father DiMaria ’85, would like to place them in the Church’s sacristy.
Each window will cost $6,000.00 to restore and install. You are invited to help preserve a part of Bishop McDevitt’s history and give these windows new life.
Thank you for considering this request.
