Help Save Another Small Business in the Richmond

This Richmond District small business has been hit YET AGAIN at 3:30 AM on Tuesday, October 15th 2024. Burglars broke in and once again stole tens of thousands of dollars in merchandise.

This is the THIRD time they have been burglarized in 2024.

The owners of Cigarettes Cheaper have been running their shop at 17th and Geary for over 20 years. They have become a foundational small business here in the Richmond District. In 2023 they were victims of store break-ins and robberies and lost $100k in merchandise and damage. This lawlessness and crime plaguing San Francisco caused them to lose their insurance. Now, again in June 2024, a gang of 8-10 masked thieves drove a stolen car through their door and ransacked their store, stealing over $50k in merchandise and causing $60k in damage.
