Help Save Baby Nugget's Life!

Hi, my name is Ali and I am a proud bunny mom of now 3. Baby nugget was found in a garden in terrible condition, very thin with a distended stomach and very dirty. His owners where never found, and we assume that he was released into the wild by them due to his health problems. Thankfully, my boss found the baby bunny and I took him in (knowing there was a risk there was something wrong). He was so boney and underweight and had no energy to even move. Tuesday night I had to rush him to the vet ER. He had defecated something they had never seen before, his blood pressure was low, and his body temperature was low and dropping. He would have died overnight if I had not brought him in. Turns out he has GI Stasis, which can be terminal for baby bunnies, and they did not find the root cause. Due to his terrible condition I was given 5 meds to give him every 8 hours. Although I have only known the little guy for a few days, I love him so much and will do everything and anything I can to help him get better and save his life. I am hoping for some financial support from family, friends, and hopefully strangers to cover his ER visit bill, medications, and X-rays/tests that need to be done.

On a hopeful note:

Today we had another appointment for him. We took X-rays and found that he has pneumonia, which most likely caused his GI stasis, and could also have eaten some things while he was outside, so he is also being treated for parasites. It is very good that we found the root cause of the problem, but his pain level is still very high and things could get worse, or hopefully better!

Anything you give truly means the world to me, Nugget, and his brothers. So far we have spent a lot of money on ER bills and medications but he will most likely be needing more exams, and possibly another round of meds.
