Help Save an Israeli Horse Riding Center Near Gaza

Due to the recent attack by Hamas on October 7th and the ongoing war in the region, the Israeli government has mandated a temporary closure of our facility. Given our proximity to Gaza, the safety concerns have forced us to suspend operations indefinitely. This has resulted in a severe financial strain, as we rely on the center's activities for income to cover the care, and feeding, of 30 horses and the operational costs of maintaining our center for future use.

My name is Morley, and as the sole personal owner and director of Bar Bamidbar, I am passionate about our mission to provide people with a unique connection to these magnificent animals. Our riding academy, established in 2001, caters to around 90 students from the South Israel area, including special needs children who benefit immensely from the therapeutic aspects of horse care and riding. Also, we are known as a sanctuary for abused and unproductive horses to live out their remaining lives.
