Help Save Booboo Kitty

Hi, my name is Jenn and I am fundraising for my Booboo kitty. She was recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, which is deadly in cats, and I need to raise some funds to cover her treatment. The most cost-effective treatment and best chance she has for a cure is to receive radioiodine therapy. She is scheduled for her treatment on April 29th. It is a bit urgent because she has lost 1/3 of her body weight and was vomiting blood 2 days ago. Her appetite is waxing and waning. Anorexia in cats is very serious. The procedure will be between $2,000 - $2,500. We won't know the final total until she has been released as it depends on her required length of stay in the facility. She will then require follow-ups for blood and urine at one month and 3 months. These visits are predicted to be about $350 each. There are additional expenses (flushable litter, gloves for handling items my Booboo comes in contact with after treatment, etc.). I will update you as the costs become clearer and, of course, on Booboo.
I am asking for assistance because I recently lost one of my other beloved kitties (Bubby) to complications from diabetes. It was a heart-wrenching experience, which I am still grieving and paying off. Being on disability myself, with a fixed income, it is difficult to keep up with the ever-growing vet bills. I am grateful for whatever help that you are willing to provide. I'm not sure I can face losing another kitty to another beast of a disease. Especially, when, in this case, there is a cure to be had.
