To Our Friends, Supporters, and Beer Enthusiasts,
It is with broken hearts that we announce the impending closure of Boulder Dam Brewing Co. The brewpub, a social anchor of the Boulder City community for the past 17 years, is facing an unprecedented challenge. The building in which we are located is being sold for more than we can afford, and the current owners will not renew our lease. We are now embarking on a significant journey to reopen in a new space. This move is not just a relocation; it requires a lengthy and costly build-out to recreate the warm atmosphere and unique brewing operation that you have come to know and love.
Who We Are:
Founded 17 years ago, we are a family-owned and operated brewpub. The idea was to craft exceptional beers as well as foster community. We are in the people business as much as we are in the beer business. We simply use live music, trivia, festivals, burgers, beer, etc. as a means of bringing people together. Over the years, we've weathered economic downturns, industry changes, and even a global pandemic. Through it all, our loyal patrons and dedicated staff have been the heart of our success.
The Challenge:
Our current location is no longer viable, and we must move to continue serving our community. This transition involves finding a new space, extensive renovations, and setting up our brewing operation from scratch. The build-out will be a massive undertaking, requiring a significant amount of time and funds for construction, equipment, and permits. We estimate the total cost to be $250,000.
We are calling on our community, near and far, to help us in this critical time. Your support will directly contribute to:
- Securing a new location that will serve as the home of our brewpub.
- Necessary construction and renovations to meet brewing and safety standards.
- Installing brewing equipment and infrastructure.
- Recreating the cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes the brewpub a special place.
- Ensuring our staff, who are like family to us, can continue to work and support their own families.
In the unfortunate event that we are unable to secure a location, the funds raised will support our family through the loss of the business and the transition to new careers.

So many of you have been asking, almost demanding, how you can help. Here's what you can do:

- Share - As the saying goes, many hands make light work. Tell your friends and families. Share it on your socials.
- Stop by - Dismantling our brewpub is going to take some time. We are still serving drinks from 11 am - 7 pm every day. Come share a pint and a laugh, or a cry, with us!
