Help save Calderdale's Community Christmas Trees

Hello,

We are a group of Calderdale residents with one aim, to save our community Christmas Trees.

Calderdale Council made a decision to remove funding for all our small village Christmas trees this year. A small thing for them, but a big thing for our communities.

Christmas is an important part of our community, a time for giving, a time for family, a time for coming together and celebrating.

Without a Christmas tree, our communities lose an element of their civic pride, and they lose some sparkle and Christmas Magic.

You can help!!! Every donation counts. Every business that sponsors a branch, gives something back to the community they are in.

We will be holding a fundraiser later in the year, but in the meantime, please dig deep and let us bring back some Christmas cheer.

Our focus is on the Northowram tree at the moment, as each tree costs £1600.00. (It is more time effective and not much more costly this once, to use the council sourced tree).

Anything we make on top of £1600.00 will ultimately be invested into future Chris

mas events in Northowram.
