Help Save Charli (aka Buba) from Rattlesnake Bite

Charli (aka Buba) was attacked by a rattlesnake last Wednesday (3/23) around 1:45 PM. I was laying in the backyard with her when it happened, but since there was no rattle or sound from her we didn't notice anything was wrong until around 2 PM. Once we realized what had happened, we immediately rushed her to the emergency vet where she was given her first round of anti-venom. Since then, she has received a second round of anti-venom, a plasma transfusion, and a blood transfusion on top of an IV and pain medicine. The vets suspect that the rattlesnake injected her with a substantial amount of venom, which is why she requires such aggressive treatment. The cost of these treatments is astounding, as we are quickly approaching $10,000 in vet bills. Even with extensive snake fencing, the rattlesnake vaccine, and outdoor supervision, it can be impossible to protect your pets from attacks like this one. Charli is the sweetest, most loving dog and our family is not complete without her. Any and all donations will be endlessly appreciated by our family as we hope and pray for Charli's recovery.
