Help Save Chocolate's life

Hi, my name is Andrea, and this is my best friend, Chocolate. Chocolate isn’t just a pet—he’s my family. He’s been by my side since he was born, through every challenge, every triumph, and every moment in between. Now, he needs help to keep fighting for his life.

A few days ago, Chocolate had a medical emergency that required immediate surgery. Just when I thought he was on the road to recovery, he developed a severe internal infection that put his life at risk. He is receiving the best possible care at the UC Davis Veterinary Hospital, but the cost of his treatment has become overwhelming.

So far, his surgery has cost $8,500, and the ongoing treatment for his infection is expected to exceed $5,000. Because of his previous conditions, insurance won’t cover these expenses. As a graduate student, I’m doing everything I can, but I simply can’t afford it all on my own.

If you know me, you know that I’ve dedicated my life to rescuing and fostering animals in need. Now, it’s Chocolate and I who need your help. I can’t imagine giving up on him—he still has so much love and life left to give.
