Help Save Christmas and Light Council Bluffs

Every year, Council Bluffs is lit up with holiday lights throughout the 100 Block. But what if this year you were walking down the 100 Block with out those magical lights? Would it still feel the same?  Unfortunately, many of the lights that we have need to be replaced and the trees have grown larger since we purchased lights in 2016.

 

 

With that being said, we need your help with lighting the 100 Block this year. We have close to 32 trees that need to be lit, so can you spare $35, $50, $100, or even $500 or $1,000 to contribute to the holiday spirit?

In the past, light installation cost $2,500, but because of the larger area and the inflation over the last few years, the price has gone up dramatically. To get all 32 trees lit this year, it will cost us close to $14,000. The 100 Block's trees might be dark for the holidays this year without your help. We are now reaching out to our dedicated citizens to help us save Christmas. Can you help us continue our Council Bluffs' Holiday tradition and  donate $35, $50, $100, or even $500 or $1,000 to help us light the 100 Block?

As of right now, we are looking to get our old and broken lights replaced and searching for volunteers to help decorate the trees. To be able to light all 32 trees, we are looking to raise $3,000. Any donations we receive will go toward the new lights and installation.
