UPDATE***** Very exciting news, we found a company that is willing to help us out with dirt!!!!! WE only need $8000 now!!!!! Help us get to the home stretch to opening the track and resurfacing so we can be around for a while!******

Last year, our BMX track was hit hard by the shut down and now we are facing major repairs to the track to make it ridable for our kids. We don't have the money to do it. Right now our kids are missing out on riding time just when they need it most; after a long year of covid protocols, isolation at home, and everything with school. And trust me when we say you will not meet a more deserving group of kids.

We have two goals: 1. To get the track up and running with short term repairs, really anything we can do to get the kids on the track as soon as possible! We need office equipment for registration, a new first aid kit, dirt for temporary fixes, lumber, and patchwork for our paved areas to name a few. Please check our facebook page for updates. We will be posting regularly on projects that we are able to do with your donations.

2. Unfortunately, our short term repairs are just temporary. We need to purchase dirt to make the long term repair of resurfacing. Dirt is pricing out at about $48/yard. We are estimating that we will need at least 350 yards. Resurfacing will get us another 5-7 years of good riding. Our short terms repairs will only last us from year to year and will become more and more difficult to maintain.

CNY BMX is a 100% non profit fully volunteer organization where no participant rides the bench. Everyone who wants to race can race.
We serve riders of all ages, primarily younger to teen kids, but the young at heart can ride too. Before Covid, we were able to run beginner leagues for new riders. Our BC8 strider program that introduced pre kindergarten children to balance bikes and assist with payment to launch them into full BMX riding was flourishing. We were always teaching kids such important life lessons like friendships, how to win, how to lose, and most importantly how to get back up again. We desperately want to get back to this.

We have lost a couple of tracks in New York, please don't let us be one of them. Any amount will help.
