Help Cool Junk’s unexpected business relocation

Hi, We are a thriving antique mall in the heart of the historic Granbury Tx. We recently learned that our building was privately sold to the hotel next door, they intend on using the building immediately and initially asked us to vacate within a month. They have agreed to let us stay until July as the building we found won’t be available until then. However because our lease was month to month, the new owners aren’t required to uphold the portion of the lease that funds the relocating. They have made it clear that they cannot and will not help further than they have already. heres the problem, we had no clue any of this was happening and have zero funds set aside to pay for this move. we need roughly 8k in fees and deposits, then we need funds to build out the new location, and funds to pay the ongoing bills while not being able to sell out of either location. we also need to hire movers, and ideally build a fence on the property too. we are home to 30+ vendors all of which depend on the daily sales of our products. we are a small mom and pop shop and literally feed our families with our daily sales. We are nationally known, and have won many local “best of” titles. We serve on multiple charity boards and give back anytime we can. we really wish we had more than 4 weeks notice to vacate. We spent our profits from last year on upgrades and art installations for our currently location only to loose all of those too. please consider donating to help Cool Junk keep their doors open.
