Help Save Cosmo – Life-Saving Emergency Vet Care Needed

Hi everyone,

I’m helping a close family member raise funds for her beloved cat Cosmo, who is in a life-threatening emergency and urgently needs medical care.

Cosmo is a 4-year-old Russian Blue suffering from a blocked bladder, which has now started to affect his kidneys. The total cost for the emergency treatment he needs is £2,000. Without it, he may not survive.

Cosmo is more than just a pet—he’s a therapy cat and an emotional lifeline for a child. Their bond is incredibly strong. Cosmo brings him comfort, stability, and emotional support every single day. Losing him would be devastating for the family.

She simply cannot afford the cost of this emergency care on her own. That’s why I’m stepping in to help. Any donation, even just £1, would mean the world and bring us one step closer to saving Cosmo’s life.

UPDATE 23/4/25. COSMO WAS TREATED AT RVC BASED ON A LOW BUDGET. UNFORTUNATELY HE IS SHOWING SIGNS OF BEING UNWELL AGAIN AND A BLOCKAGE CAN BE FATAL FOR CATS. HIS RVC TREATMENT WAS BASED ON THE FINANCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES AND ADVISE WAS GIVEN THAT IF HE DID REBLOCK THAT HIS FAMILY SHOULD CONSIDER PUTTING HIM TO SLEEP WHICH IS DEVASTATING.

THE FAMILY ARE BASED OUTSIDE OF CATCHMENT FOR PDSA OR BLUE CROSS BUT THANKFULLY THE PDSA HAVE AGREED TO ASSESS AND OFFER MEDS, ALTHOUGH IF HIS BLOCKED THIS WILL COME AT A COST OF APPROX £300.
