Help save CPS Welding and Repair, LLC!

As many of you know, my brother, Phillip Shope (known as Jamie to his family/friends), is a welder and has a steel fabrication and welding business in Asheville, NC, around the area of Biltmore. On Friday, September 27th, his welding shop, amongst many other shops in the area, took the brunt of Hurricane Helene when the Swannanoa River flooded the entire area and completely destroyed his business.

My brother is one of the hardest-working people I have ever met, and after I saw firsthand what happened to his business, I knew I had to step in and help. His business and his family are everything to him, and I want to see him get back on his feet to continue doing what he loves, welding, while supporting his family and other local business owners suffering similar losses.

How funds raised will be used: Replace all damaged equipment (welding and fabrication equipment); to buy a new mobile welding truck (est. $45,000); purchase new computer, hardware, office furniture, etc.; funds will also be allocated to bring in outside equipment to assist with the cleanup of both Jamie's business and other neighboring business owners (general contractor, machine shop, and landscaping design shop).

The months ahead for those in Western North Carolina will be brutal, and I firmly believe that when we come together as a community to support our people, we can make this recovery effort just a little easier. Please consider donating to my GoFundMe for my brother.
