If you don't know us, my name is Saraya Vogel (aka Ziggy Quinn). I am a local Burlesque, Drag and Circus Performer. My fiance and partner in everything is Seth Penn. He is a local inker, comic book writer and artist. I work for BFF Omaha (an arts non-profit) and he works for Children's Hospital.
This year has been rough. Like many, Seth and I have been struggling to dig ourselves out of an ever deepening hole. We've struggled to keep up on our rent at Trudy's in Benson. With my health, the recent passing of Seth's Father, issues with clients and two other family deaths we have hit a wall. We've received some help to pay our other bills but if we don't catch up on our studio rent we'll have to move out before December's First Friday.
Having our studio all summer was such a blessing. Seth has dreamed of having his own studio, starting his comic collective and hosting art shows within it. I've been able to work with new artist, hold meetings and rehearsals. We had planned to do indoor pop-up markets over the winter to raise funds, but we are unfortunately out of time. We have so many projects to finish still. So many things to offer the community. We can't lose our studio. This means so much to us.
There art available for purchase on Seth's Etsy Please help us save Dark Marbles Studio.
