Help Save Despacito!
Dear friends, family, and community,
We are reaching out with hopeful hearts and a deep love for what we do. Our small, family-run restaurant in Burlington, Vermont—a vegan Puerto Rican spot that brings authentic flavors and community together—has been serving up delicious food and hosting DIY music events for over two years. Since opening in December 2022, we have poured our passion into creating a space where people can gather, share culture, and enjoy plant-based Puerto Rican cuisine in a welcoming environment.
Like many small businesses, we’ve faced challenges, but recently, personal financial hardships have made it difficult to invest in our restaurant the way it needs right now. While we’ve been able to cover our rent each month, we’ve now been asked to pay ahead, and on top of that, it’s time for our kitchen hood cleaning, which will cost an additional $2,000.
Coming out of the slow winter season, we are hopeful that with the warmer weather, business will pick up again. But at this moment, we need a little help to get through this rough patch. If you love what we do, have enjoyed a meal with us, or have attended one of our community music nights, we kindly ask for your support. Every contribution—big or small—will go directly toward keeping our doors open and our dream alive.
Thank you for believing in us and for being part of this journey. Whether through a donation or simply sharing this fundraiser, your support means the world to us.
With gratitude,
David Quintana, Hallie Wolklin, and the Despacito family.
