Help Save Emoji: Urgent Medical Fund

Emoji is my Meowanger, my senior cat, my writing cat, my Chief Executive of Dysfunction. She is one of the two good things that are a part of my day-to-day life and sometimes is the only thing that keeps me grounded and sane.
Except, Emoji is sick and I no longer have a job.
She had barely been eating and I thought it was just the food at first because she was eating treats. Then she started turning her nose up at treats. Then she would eat something and then completely stop, never eating the same thing twice. She lost a lot of weight and at the first vet appointment she was 6 pounds.
She's barely eating, barely pooping, and isn't as active as she has been. She's been to the vet twice and the second time they felt a mass near her abdomen that is about a quarter big, but it is inconclusive on the x-rays based on its location.
This appointment, which is about a week and a half since the last one, she only weighs 5 lbs, so she's lost a pound.
Emoji is 15 years old and honestly, this fundraiser is the only chance I can get her to try to live out longer because the loss of my job makes it difficult to pay for things.
Some of the cost breakdowns:
The options that are laid out are that my vet's office can do exploratory surgery to see if they can find and remove it, which would be about $1200, and if they can't remove it, we would have to figure out other treatment options.
Going the specialized care route is another $300 appointment and a special ultrasound that is more expensive, plus any surgical procedures on top of it, and that's almost double in price from what I've been calling.
Right now, we are trying to get her to eat with prednisone and a medicine that is supposed to help stimulate appetite to see if she'll eat.
As it stands now, part of this fundraiser is going to my sister and BIL who have been using their CareCredit to pay for the two doctor's appointments that the cat has already had (totaling about $600).
I'm hoping that if I can get the funds raised and show that the money will be there, my sister and BIL will use their CareCredit again to at least pay for the surgery at the animal hospital. The $1200 is just an estimate. It doesn't mean that it might not be more, and I'd also like to get them the $600 back. However, unless people decide to direct pay via other options, it takes a lot of time for GoFundMe to transfer funds and I'm not sure Emoji has that.
Any funds raised go toward the care of the cat and/or paying back my sister/BIL in case the worst happens before she has a chance to get to surgery.
She's that sick and I'm that worried.
I don't know what I'll do if I lose this cat.
